Celebrate the magic, rhythm and flavor of Mexican Mardi Gras at Carnaval “Magia y Alegoría” to be held February 3-8, 2005. Thousands of revelers from Southern and Baja California, and even the Mexican mainland, will flock to Ensenada to enjoy a solid six-day fiesta filled with three colorful parades, the selection of a Queen, King and royal court, a plethora of food and drink, and continuous music and dancing in the streets until the wee hours of the morning.

Av. Ruiz and Parque Revolución (Av. Obregon between Calles 6 & 7) will be the site of a nightly fair with nearly a hundred booths and attractions including rides, games of chance, arts & crafts, souvenirs and an endless array of tacos, burritos, superburritos, corn cocktails, churros, candies and other Mexican delights. Dance in the streets til 2am to the rhythms of mambo, salsa, ranchero and rock'n roll beats!
