September 26: 36th Anniversary Fall Rosarito-Ensenada Fun Bicycle Ride

November 2: Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead in Mexico)

Día de Muertos is one of Mexico's most traditional religious holidays as deceased loved ones are remembered with special altars, marigold flowers (flores de cempasúchil), candles and their favorite foods. A sweet bread, pan de muertos, can be found at bakeries, and candy skulls, coffins and skeletons are featured at dulcerías. Celebrations and candlelight processions are held in local cemeteries.

The annual festivities celebrate the saint’s day of the Jesuit mission founded in 1752. Enjoy music, dancing and regional foods from 10am.
