San Felipe 250
More than 250 cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs will
attempt to complete the challenging 232-mile desert course within the
official
10-hour time limit. On Friday, the SCORE Midway and tech inspection is
from
10am-6pm on San Felipe’s waterfront malecón. On Saturday, the
race start is 6am
for motorcycles and ATVs, followed by trucks and cars at approximately
9:30am.
The start line is at the landmark San Felipe arches on Highway 5 on the
outskirts of town; the finish line is just south of the arches,
directly behind
the Tecate building. Awards are Sunday at 10am in front of The
Beachcomber on
