More than 100 entrants from both sides of the border compete in a challenging
lap race on a 50-mile circuit course at El Alamo, 50 miles southeast of

The legendary off-road race in which nearly 360 four-wheelers, motorcycles
and ATVs challenge 709 miles of rugged mountain, forest and desert terrain
in their attempts to “beat the Baja.” The manufacturer’s midway and tech
inspection are on Thurs. from 10am-6pm along Av. Riviera and at Manzana
Ocho fairgrounds in downtown Ensenada. On Fri., motorcycles and ATVs start
at 6:30am, followed by trucks and cars at 9:30am, in front of the Riviera
