March 9-11: 21st Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 250
Because of irreconcilable differences between the city of San Felipe and one of the San Felipe ejido land groups, the Tecate SCORE San Felipe was officially moved to the municipality of Ensenada as of February 26. This year’s race will start at the end of Ave. Ruiz in Ensenada, approximately two miles east of downtown, and finish in the Santo Tomás baseball field along Highway 1, 1.5 miles south of the center of Santo Tomás. A race-record field of 394 cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs will compete in the challenging 216-mile desert race. Friday is the SCORE midway and tech inspection from 10am-6pm across from Hotel San Nicolás in downtown Ensenada. Saturday race start is 6am for motorcycles and ATVs, followed by car and truck classes at approximately 10am. Drivers will have 9 hours to officially finish the elapsed time race.
