March 13-15: 23rd Annual Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 Desert Race
More than 225 cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs will attempt to complete the challenging 232-mile course within the official 10-hour time limit. On Friday, the pre-race Manufacturer’s Midway and tech inspection is from 10am-6pm on San Felipe’s waterfront malecón. On Saturday, motorcycles and ATVs take off at 6am, followed by trucks and cars at approximately 10am, at the start line located at the landmark San Felipe arches on Highway 5 on the outskirts of town. A family style country festival with parades, rodeo contests, cultural exhibitions, regional foods, live entertainment and a Saturday night Cowboy Camp & Bonfire. June 5-7: 41st Tecate SCORE Baja 500
The legendary off-road race in which more than 250 cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs from 24 U.S. states and 10 countries traverse 431.76 miles of rugged mountain, forest and desert terrain in their attempts to “beat the Baja.” This year’s race starts and finishes in front of Ensenada’s historic Riviera Cultural Center on Blvd. Costero (Lázaro Cárdenas). On Friday, June 5, the pre-race SCORE Manufacturer’s Midway and tech inspection takes place on the boulevard next to the Riviera from 10am-6pm. On Saturday, June 6, motorcycles and ATVs start at 6am, followed by trucks and cars at approximately 10am. Starters have a 20-hour time period to officially finish the race. October 2 & 3: 46th Annual San Diego-Ensenada International Yacht Race

Over 100 yachts in various classes participate in this 62-nautical-mile race that starts on Friday morning in San Diego and officially finishes on Saturday in Ensenada. Award presentations are on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, yachts have the option of competing in the 4th Annual Todos Santos International Yacht Regatta, a 20-nautical-mile sailing race around Todos Santos Island. Día de Muertos is one of Mexico's most traditional religious holidays as deceased loved ones are remembered with special altars, flowers, candles and their favorite foods. The legendary desert race in which more than 275 cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs from 34 U.S. states and more than a dozen countries traverse rugged mountain, forest and desert terrain in their attempts to “beat the Baja.” This year’s race starts and finishes in front of Ensenada’s historic Riviera Cultural Center on Blvd. Costero (Lázaro Cárdenas).
